About Us
Kodiak Restoration is Christ-owned and Christian-operated.
In 1998, Tom Geer began his career in the
cleaning and restoration industry. He is now an IICRC certified Master
Textile Cleaner and a graduate of the Reets Drying Academy in Alabama.
Tom is licensed in the state of Montana to provide a CEC course,
and licensed by the Montana Department of Agriculture to apply anti-microbials.
He has extensive experience in the industry and constantly surrounds
himself with quality professionals to offer a wide variety of services.
The Kodiak Restoration team is capable of mitigating any water damage
claim, regardless of size. "Education and attitude are the keys," states Tom. "Without
one of these, the other is useless. We bring both to the table." Tom
is very passionate about what he does and asserts, "all you have
to do to be successful is do what you said you were going to do—it’s
not complicated." He continues, "I work hard for my family,
and they’re worth it!"
A 1990 graduate of Western Michigan University,
Tom earned his bachelors degree in the field of engineering and applied
sciences. He also received an aircraft airframe and powerplant mechanics
license. He married Lorrie in 1991, and they now have three children,
Emily Grace (13), Noah Thomas (10), and Rylee Kathleen (4).
The Geer family moved from Michigan to Belgrade,
Montana in August of 2007. Tom states, "We moved here to be part of
an awesome congregation and enroll our children in its Christian
school. There isn’t a better place to raise kids and enjoy
God’s creation—and of course the hunting and fishing
aren’t bad either! I look forward to enjoying these activities
with my kids."
